Information service for brokers and clients

Business Edge Insurance is offering two streamlined administration services under its ‘InsureSlips’ package. Each is designed to reduce paperwork and handling errors.

The first is called BrokerSlips. The cost depends on the number of transactions and what information is being communicated. Director Karen Malkin says, however, that the service “is much more cost effective than producing paper.”

BrokerSlips allows the broker to view information of his dealings, for example, his commission statement, with the insurer on a regular basis in a non-intrusive way. The broker does not have to search for information, and can view off line in his own time. There is a facility to communicate with the insurer if there is a problem, or some issue to address.

The second part of the package is called CoverSlips. This is used to communicate information, such as policy schedules and policy wordings, and allows the policyholder to communicate with his insurer and/or broker without having to learn how self service portals work.

All that is needed on the part of the user is an email facility. It is secure and small in size.

In addition to viewing and querying information direct to the insurer, or even a particular person, the user can generate printouts. There is also an SMS facility available. The package can be used with any insurance product or short term insurance policy.

For further information please contact Karen Malkin on (011) 706-2930 or email to [email protected]
